Thank You to our Veterans!

This picture above speak volumes of the sacrifices that my dad and his fellow soldiers made during their time in Korea.  My father lived in this bunker in March of 1952 for several weeks.  The picture to the right is an article from the Ann Arbor News about the six guys that went in and came out of the war!

I would like to thank all Veterans and those currently serving for the sacrifices they have made for our freedom. While you sleep in the comfort of your own bed in your own home know that others have lived in holes in the ground to ensure that you could have that comfort.

Please take some time to read the letters on my website from my dad to my mom and to his parents.  You will see an example of everything a young man sacrificed to serve his country.  Let's not forget the Veteran's from the Korean War!  This war was much worse than people know or remember.  Thank a Veteran today!

Miss you Dad! Thank you for being a great father and for the sacrifices you made for all of us!

I'm writing a book on Christmas in Wartime. Would it be ok to use a couple of comments in your dad's letters related to Christmas in the book? Many thanks!
